Whether you're new to publishing video online or an experienced digital media developer, it's easy to create video and audio in MediaFreedom.
Whatever the type of your video, we offer different ways to get your media content into our MediaFreedom platform. Drag and drop from your desktop. Point and click from your web browser or mobile device. Or automate the whole process.
If have 2 new pieces of content per week, or hundreds of new titles every month, there is an ingest method for you.
Upload from a web browser
Upload media files simply and quickly from your web browser using the MediaFreedom Admin tool. Quick and easy if you want to upload and describe new programmes individually.
Drag and drop from your desktop
If you tend to have lots of video files to upload in one go, use our Desktop Upload application. Simply install it on your own computer and identify the files you want to upload. As soon as an internet connection is available it will transfer your content to our MediaFreedom platform. You don't have to worry out your connection timing out, it will tell you when the upload is complete. You can then log on to MediaFreedom and describe the new content when you want.
Bulk upload via FTP
If you have lots of new media content, upload it to MediaFreedom's FTP server. As you'd expect, the transfer is completely secure. All we need is an accompanying file that lists the new video/audio files to be ingested in an agreed format.
Bespoke wokflows
Many of our customers, particularly those in the broadcast industry, have an automatic workflow that ingests content and metadata into MediaFreedom. We'll let you have access to our Ingest API if your developers want to create the process themselves. Or we can work with you to setup a new workflow.
